The Ark of San Juan, Neighbor

The Ark rescues the forgotten animals of San Juan Capistrano.

There are still healthy dogs and cats being euthanized at The Orange County Shelter. These pets have been abandoned, lost or relinquished from our community. We pledge to protect and enhance the lives of stray and abandoned domestic dogs and cats in need, with the primary focus on the animals originating from within the City of San Juan Capistrano.

The Ark does not have an adoption center and relies on volunteer foster homes to care for our animals until they find their forever homes. Some cats are housed in The Cattery in the San Juan Capistrano PetSmart. Adoption events are held every Saturday, see our website for location and times and our available animals!
