Super Trans Am is a unique and innovative theme band, playing all of your favorite arena anthems and chart-topping radio hits of the 1970’s. Combining unparalleled musicianship with artistic and inspired A/V production, you’ll enjoy revisiting classic singalongs from one of the most definable decades in American history. Performing masterworks from icons such as The Eagles, Hall &amp; Oates, Queen, The Doobie Brothers, Paul McCartney &amp; Wings, Peter Frampton, Foreigner, Kiss, Boston and Journey as well as “Yacht Rock” favorites such as “Still the One” by Orleans and Pilot’s “Magic”, you will fall in love with this epic decade of memorable music all over again. In addition to every member of the band taking the lead vocal mic throughout the evening, each show is accompanied by state of the art video and stage production that pays homage to the era’s unique pop culture. The inaugural Love is Love Market is a free artisan marketplace celebrating Pride weekend in downtown Salem, MA — and everyone is invited.
On Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Old Town Hall (indoor) and Derby Square (outdoor) transform into a curated marketplace featuring nearly 30 local makers, artists, and small businesses from across the North Shore and beyond. This isn't a generic vendor fair. This is a market built around the people who pour their whole selves into what they create — the jewelers, the painters, the candlemakers, the bakers, the ceramicists, the designers who turned a passion into a business and a business into a community.
Shop handmade jewelry, original art, specialty foods, candles, ceramics, clothing, home goods, and more. This year's hand-selected lineup includes illustrator Karen Hallion, Sarah Kelly Ceramics, Dragonfly Candle &amp; Soap Co, Peace Florals, The Hippie Bean Co., Why Not Jewelry by Kirsty, Jack Attackk Clothing, Lory Sun Artistry, Wildwood Bindery, Alder &amp; Spice, Strawberry Oddities, and The Witchery — alongside more than a dozen more makers across both venues. Every vendor is hand-selected. Every purchase goes directly to the person who made it. And from noon to 3 PM, DJ Andrea Stamas brings the energy with a live, Pride-themed, family-friendly set — cued to start just as the North Shore Pride Parade makes its way through downtown.
Love is Love Market is timed to coincide with North Shore Pride celebrations, and that timing is intentional. This is a market that believes the creative economy and the LGBTQ+ community have always been connected — by courage, by self-expression, by the willingness to build something that didn't exist before. We wanted to create a space where that energy is visible, shoppable, and celebrated out loud — and 2026 is the first year we're bringing it to life.
Whether you're a longtime Salem local, visiting for Pride weekend, or just looking for a reason to spend a Saturday surrounded by good people and great makers — this is your day.
Make it the full Salem Pride experience. The Love is Love Market is one piece of a much bigger day. Start with the North Shore Pride Parade as it steps off through downtown Salem, gather on Salem Common for the North Shore Pride Festival, and then shop the Love is Love Market at Old Town Hall and Derby Square. We're proud to be part of a Pride weekend that fills the whole city — march, celebrate, shop, and stay all day.
Admission is free. All ages welcome. Leashed dogs welcome in Derby Square.
This inaugural year is made possible by two proud sponsors — Jenni Stuart Fine Jewelry and Witch City Walking Tours — two Salem businesses that showed up early and put their names on the line for a market that didn't exist yet. That's what real community looks like.

Kids take the stage!&nbsp;Paint on the historic Larcom stage and let your creativity shine!&nbsp;Kids ages 5-14 will join beloved local artist and instructor for a fun, encouraging, and inspiring paint day. This session features a fun cat or dog sunset painting. Students will be guided step-by-step to create a beautiful acrylic masterpiece on stretched 11x14 canvas.&nbsp;

No skills needed — this is a beginner-friendly class designed for confidence, creativity, and fun.​&nbsp;Parents/caregivers are welcome to relax in the theatre seats and watch their young artists bring the stage to life!​​&nbsp;​​

Olesea is a seasoned art teacher with over 30 years of experience, a fine artist, and graphic designer who owns and runs “Olesea’s Art Studio” in Swampscott, MA. With degrees in oil and watercolor painting from a fine arts university in Moldova and digital art direction from the University of Massachusetts, she combines classical artistic training with a modern creative approach.
Her work includes commissioned paintings, custom indoor and outdoor murals, art instruction for children and adults, and creative design for businesses and events. Through her studio, she brings together fine art, design, and community creativity in a warm and inspiring environment.

“Here’s to life!” Fans around the world can be found singing the chorus of the Roger Clyne-penned fan favorite “Mekong” and toasting their glasses in unison to celebrate life through rock-n-roll. But the inspiration for the song dates back to the time Roger went to Taipei, Taiwan, as a college student to teach English during the day and busk with his guitar at night for money.
Today, as Clyne prepares to release his 11th studio album, he continues to transform his life experiences, inspirations, observations and his own muses into timeless music. And whether he’s wearing his Converse high tops, boots or sandals, Clyne’s blend of punk rock, americana, indie-pop and mariachi influences have made him, drummer PH Naffah, guitarist Jim Dalton and bassist Nick Scropos – collectively known as Roger Clyne &amp; The Peacemakers – one of America’s best live rock-n-roll bands.
