I grew up in Berkeley, California, but have now spent half my life in the LA area, including most recently the Palisades. Scary? No, not really. The beach, the cool climate (a lot like what I knew up north actually), a 20 minute drive within everywhere "without traffic" -- what's not to love about it here?
