A portion of this year's proceeds will go to help a local family in need, making your participation a great way to support the community.This year's recipient is Union resident Marcos Rodriguez, who became a quadriplegic after a swimming accident.&nbsp; He and his family now struggle with mounting medical debt for his treatment and care.

Fun games &amp; activities…from 10:00 am to 5:00 p.m. – Visit us at the south side train station parking lot on South Ave in the Kids Zone. Free activities, Corn hole games, Soccer goal kicks, Obstacle courses, pizza eating, ice cream eating, bubble blowing, water balloon toss, and more!
Delicious food…If contests aren’t your thing, grab some delicious food from one of the many food exhibitors and trucks. Some of the foods being sold are gourmet empanadas, tornado potatoes, shish kabob, gyros, chicken fingers &amp; fries, hot dogs, hamburgers, freshly squeezed lemonade, ice cream &amp; lemon ice, sausage &amp; peppers, steak sandwiches, zeppoles, funnel cakes, and more!
Live Music...Don’t miss the hot show we have planned with live music from local bands. There will be chairs and tables set up so you can relax, eat, and enjoy the show all day long.

Innovative Jazz pianist, composer and electronic artist Pascal Le Boeuf will spark the first Steeple Concert of the 2026-27 season at 5 PM on Sunday, September 27 at St. Paul’s Church in Westfield.&nbsp; Tickets, priced at $40/adults and $15/students are available online at <a href="https://steepleconcerts.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">steepleconcerts.org</a> or at the door.&nbsp; &nbsp;St. Paul’s Episcopal Church is located at 414 East Broad Street in Westfield, NJ.&nbsp; At concert finish, attendees are cordially invited to a lavish “Meet and Greet the Artists” reception which, in this case, includes Mr. Le Boeuf and three exceptional ensemble players:&nbsp; Violinist Sara Caswell, cellist Nick Photinos, and drummer Christian Euman.&nbsp; Parking is FREE in the St. Paul’s parking lot off Euclid Avenue or on St. Paul’s Street next to the church. The works of Grammy-winning Pascal Le Boeuf combine hybrid forms of new music and jazz “to blaze a trail of forward-thinking creativity.”&nbsp; The New York Times hails his work as “sleek, new” and “hyper-fluent.”&nbsp; NPR advises that Le Boeuf’s work “communicates tension and release, leaves space for improvisation and explores the limits of a continuous high energy.”
Highlighted on the September 27th varied program is Ritual Being, Mr. Le Boeuf’s critically acclaimed 2023 studio album and hybrid chamber-jazz project.&nbsp; Highlighted by the Caswell-Photinos-Euman ensemble, Ritual Being “combines modern post-bop jazz improvisation with contemporary classical string chamber music.” (AI overview).&nbsp;&nbsp;The title refers to mankind’s repeated actions, which can become habits that serve a goal, i.e., rituals.  On November 15, the Steeple season continues with the Munich-based Arcis Saxophone Quartet, one of the world’s most vibrant and active classical ensembles.&nbsp; On January 31, 2027, Steeple hosts pianist/composer Nicolas Namoradze.&nbsp; Cited as a Musical America New Artist, BBC Music Magazine Rising Star, and Gramophone One to Watch, this artist won the Pianist of the Year Award in 2022 per the UK Critics’ Circle.&nbsp; Steeple’s March 14, 2027, concert features Chatham, NJ-based ensemble, Lyrica Chamber Music, since 1987 one of Morris County’s longest running chamber music series.
 On Sunday, May 23, 2027, Steeple’s annual Masterworks Concert will feature, Carl Orff’s beloved Carmina Burana. With its large chorus, solo vocalists, and impressive use of percussion, this cantata brings the season to an exciting close. In addition to the concert series, Steeple Concerts will hold a Gala Fundraiser on Saturday, November 7, to support its mission of bringing high-quality live music to the Westfield area.&nbsp; Tickets and information are available on <a href="https://steepleconcerts.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">steepleconcerts.org</a>. Tickets to the first four concerts are $40/adults and $15/students. Cranford Community Center

Our group will be hosting a free fly tying night. The hours are 7-9pm. The room that we will be in, will be posted in the front lobby. The meeting is free and open to all. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We will provide the tools, materials and instruction. You don't need to bring anything. We will be teaching how to tie a pheasant tail nymph. I will be including an INTRO LETTER with this post. It explains our history and our plans for the future.
