Tavio Hobson, Neighbor

Tavio Hobson is a seasoned business professional and entrepreneur driven to succeed and help others find their own success. He believes in his local communities and the positive impact even one person can make. Throughout his career, Tavio gained experience in marketing, real estate, investing, entrepreneurship and the nonprofit sector. Having personally seen the benefits of education, Tavio continues to commit himself to lifelong learning in and outside of formal education. Tavio attended Georgetown University and was also selected as a fellow for the German Marshall Fund focused on developing the next generation of leaders.

Starting at a young age, Tavio developed a passion for sports, specifically basketball. With the encouragement of his parents, Tavio went on to play college basketball at Sacred Heart University where he majored in Political Science with a minor in Spanish. After a career working in the nonprofit sector, Tavio Hobson moved from Seattle to Los Angeles in order to start his position in professional basketball. From developing his philanthropy A PLUS to now acting as the Vice President of Business and Basketball Development development at Dynasty Sports Management, Tavio successfully manages to combine his love of sports and mentorship and build them into a career.

First and foremost, Tavio is an entrepreneur. His passion for real estate drove him to cofound MTT Development in 2014. Tavio and his business partner are focused on innovation and evolving the Seattle real estate market through their projects. He shares his real estate experiences and thoughts on the changing industry in his blog, TavioHobson.info.

Tavio Hobson attributes much of his success to great mentorship and guidance from peers, friends and family. As a result, he puts a major emphasis on fostering growth in others through mentorship and outreach. He is heavily involved in his community as well through a host of organizations including The Breakfast Group, Los Angeles Southwest College Foundation, Greater Los Angeles African American Chamber of Commerce, and the Watts/Willowbrook Boys and Girls Club.
