I am Operations Co-Director of Live4Lali, a nonprofit in Arlington Heights that provides individuals, families, communities and organizations with awareness of the growing drug abuse epidemic and the importance of addressing mental health issues with compassion and concern.

My journey started a little over 2 years ago when my son, my only child, lost his battle to heroin. Mike passed away 4 days after his 22nd birthday. By helping others I am learning to understand my son’s own addiction.
