T.J. McAloon, Neighbor

T.J. McAloon grew up in Baldwin Township, eventually graduating from Baldwin High School in 2001. McAloon played volleyball and roller hockey at BHS before enrolling at the California University of Pennsylvania. He majored in sport management at California and graduated in the fall of 2005.

After college, he went to work for the Pittsburgh Pirates and the arena-football Austin (Texas) Wranglers in a variety of marketing and sales roles.

He now lives in Indianapolis with his fiancee, Sarah, and their dog, Clooney, where he works a freelance sports columnist. He also coaches a girls volleyball team there and plays ice hockey recreationally.

McAloon is an avid fan of Pittsburgh's professional sports teams. He loves to write about sports, with his expertise being college football and the National Hockey League.
