Housatonic Toastmasters, Community Contributor

Housatonic Toastmasters is a chartered club of Toastmasters International, a nonprofit educational organization that teaches communication, public speaking and leadership skills. Guests are welcomed at each meeting. Meetings are well-organized to promote effective time-management skills in a fun, collaborative environment where you learn-by-doing and progress at your own pace. Members choose among a variety of speech topics, participate in hands-on meeting roles, and sharpen networking skills with impromptu speaking. We’ve been helping Connecticut residents, business owners, professionals, students, stay-at-home parents, and retirees reach their goals since 2003. The club is open to interested parties 18 and older in Monroe, Trumbull, Newtown, Easton, Weston, Redding, Fairfield, Milford, and neighboring communities.
