Todd Berner, Neighbor

Todd Berner is a Boston-based veteran of the pharmaceutical industry and an expert on improving outcomes through patient advocacy, particularly when it comes to rare diseases. He works to reimagine medical affairs based on data and patient feedback, creating products to bring about a new environment in healthcare.

Todd has authored numerous studies and presentations based around health outcomes and economics. To him, solutions in the industry should be evaluated based not only on quality and cost, but the voices of the patients affected by them. This is very relevant when it comes to dealing with rare diseases, as these patient segments are often overlooked and underserved by the industry. Todd hopes to both create better healthcare experiences and products for these individuals.

Todd Berner is involved in numerous health economics organizations, including Patient Engagement in Research Special Interest Group for International Society For Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR), Patient-Centered Outcome Research Institute (PCORI), and the Pharmacy Quality Alliance (PQA). Todd had spoken at numerous conferences dedicated to the furthering of patient advocacy, including the Medical Affairs Leaders Forum in Zurich.
