Tom Jurkowski, Neighbor

I Graduated From Franklin Pierce University in 2011, with a degree in Mass Comunications. My concentration was in Journalism and a double concentration in Media Studies. I was the Sports Director for my school's radio station- Franklin Pierce radio 105.3 fm and covered many of the sports teams on campus. I was also the play by play broadcaster for our men's basketball team. I won the Fitzwater award for Sports Broadcasting MVP in 2010 and am a member of the Society of Professional Journalists.

During the Presidential elections in 2008, I helped with the camrea operations for the local and national election, for the Dan Rather reports. I also wrote for my school's newspaper-The Pierce Arrow and conducted numerous news articles online-The Exchange (www.fpujournalism/theexchange)

I grew up in Point Pleasant Beach and graduated from Point Pleasant Beach High School in 2007. I played football, wrestling, and spring track during my four years there. I was also class secretary. I love sports and have been active since I was seven years old. It is my passion, and I want to keep the public up to date with accurate news stories
