Tom Swafford, Neighbor

Tom is a violinist and composer and lived in Brooklyn from 2007 to 2020. He and his wife Molly moved to Providence in 2021. His projects include String Power, a 12 piece string ensemble which performs Tom's original compositions and arrangements of jazz, folk and pop music and Cropdust, a country/Americana band which recently released a debut album, Old Man Hustle. Tom also performs with guitarist Aram Bajakian (Lou Reed, Diana Krall, John Zorn) in his groups Kef and Dalava. Tom received a Ph.D. in music composition from U.C. Berkeley.
