The Willows Retirement Community

In a spirited performance, George Baker presents John Adams and incidents in his life, including the Boston Massacre Trial of 1770. This “Living History” focuses on President Adams's wit, legal background, and family life with Abigail.&nbsp;&nbsp; George Baker brings President John Adams to life in historically accurate costume, highlighting the Founding Father's views on history, society, and his famous friendship with Thomas Jefferson. When you arrive, please follow the cones and directions from the workers. Bring your vehicle as close to the truck or dumpster as possible. Feel free to remain in your vehicle, our workers will unload your items for you. 
Residents from all towns and communities are welcome to recycle. The event will be rain or shine. Computer hard drives will be destroyed during the recycling process, but can be removed on-site at the event for an additional charge. Cash payment is preferred, but checks will be an acceptable form of payments over $30.

How do I becomeaDementiaFriend?
You become a Dementia Friend by attending a free 90-minute information session to learn the five key messages about living with dementia and the simple things you can do to make your community a safer, supportive, and more inclusive place for people living with dementia and their care partners.
What Happens at the Information Session?
It’s an engaging and interactive discussion led by an experienced volunteer Dementia Friends Champion. You’ll learn what dementia is, the different types, what it’s like to live with it, tips for communicating with people with dementia, and about the extensive available resources and support for families and care partners. 
Participants say:
“This has opened my eyes.”&nbsp;“I wish I knew this five years ago when my family was going through it.”&nbsp;“I will be much more aware at work and out in my community.”
