Carlton E. Smith</a> will be presiding, and our service will be centered on the theme: "Awakening Curiosity: Where Do We Go From Here?" As he shares:&nbsp;
"We’re very close to the completion of the congregation’s program year! We’ve accomplished a lot over the past nine months, and yet there are many more adventures ahead, especially as we look toward the summer and into the fall. In the words of Ernest Hemingway:&nbsp;"It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.” &nbsp;

+++ All are always welcome to our Unitarian Universalist services at UU Westport, offered each Sunday at 10 AM, both in person and&nbsp;<a href="https://uuwestport.org/livestream/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">live-streamed online</a>. Services usually include a time of reflection/prayer/meditation; wonderful music; readings; and a homily or sermon to lend insight into our world and how we interact with it and with each other. The <a href="https://uuwestport.org/mission-statement/about-our-ministers-2/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Rev. Carlton E. Smith</a> presides over our time together that includes participation from multiple congregants, guests, and friends. Music Director&nbsp;<a href="https://uuwestport.org/music-program/our-minister-of-music/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Micah Krajca</a>&nbsp;leads our choirs. Separate children's programming and nursery care is available during the service, 10-11:15AM. Dress code is as you feel comfortable.

The building has just undergone a major renovation and is spectacular with its soaring rooflines, sparkling glass walls, set in the woods with the beauty of nature all around it.

<a href="https://HistoryAtPlay.com" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">History At Play, LLC</a> brings Rachel Revere's story to the <a href="https://norwalkhistoricalsociety.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Norwalk Historical Society</a> on May 17, 2026 at 2:00 PM, Mill Hill Historic Park – Town House, 2 East Wall St., Norwalk, CT. "Rendezvous with Rachel Revere" is an Immersive Living History experience. History At Play, LLC Founder and Artistic Director, Judith Kalaora, is Rachel Revere— wife to Paul Revere and Founding Mother of an American Republic. This engaging program is approximately 60 minutes, includes performance, a real-time Q&amp;A with audience members and an educational lecture. Suitable for ages 12+. "Rendezvous with Rachel Revere" ushers the audience back to May 2, 1775. Rachel Revere has heard from her beloved husband Paul only once since his legendary midnight ride on the 18th of April. Still isolated from one another due to the Siege of Boston, Rachel desperately creates a plan which shall safely take her children: six step-children from Paul’s first marriage and a newborn baby of their own, from the reach of the British Regular Army besieging Boston. In this program, the audience assists Rachel, as she carefully considers the dangers and demands of each plan. 
Find out if Rachel is successful in her perilous mission to unite her family, amidst the wake of an American Revolution.
This event is part of the <a href="https://norwalkhistoricalsociety.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Norwalk Historical Society</a>’s programming commemorating the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The Norwalk Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and an America 250|CT Affiliate.

The Glass House

Enjoy a rare opportunity to explore The Glass House and its grounds during the&nbsp;Golden Hour.&nbsp;This special two-hour guided tour offers a&nbsp;golden-hour experience&nbsp;of the site and its many distinct architectural landmarks. In addition, see how the&nbsp;lighting design by Richard Kelly&nbsp;– a pioneer and master of modern architectural lighting and a collaborator with Philip Johnson and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe –&nbsp;transforms the Glass House&nbsp;as the sun sinks in the sky.
This tour runs&nbsp;two hours&nbsp;in duration and is formulated to facilitate&nbsp;photography for personal use.&nbsp;It includes access to the Glass House, Brick House, Painting Gallery, Sculpture Gallery, and Da Monsta, with a&nbsp;three-quarter mile walk over paved, grass, and gravel paths.

This tour runs&nbsp;rain or shine.&nbsp;All&nbsp;ticket sales are final.&nbsp;No refunds will be issued, but tickets may be transferred to another date or program.
All&nbsp;tours depart from the Glass House Visitor Center + Design Store&nbsp;located at 199 Elm Street, New Canaan, CT 06840. Visitors are transported to the site in a shuttle which departs promptly.
