Kate Callahan, Neighbor

A 2015 nominee for Best Songwriter in New England, Kate Callahan has been named Connecticut’s Best Singer-Songwriter, and received Hartford’s Woman of Character Award. The Boston Globe says “Kate has garnered an appreciative audience with her easy going vibe and mystical lyrics.” She has opened shows for folk legends Judy Collins and Noel Paul Stookey (Peter, Paul, and Mary), troubadours Aztec Two-Step, John Gorka, Mustard’s Retreat, and the late Bill Morrissey. She lives in Connecticut where she also leads a vocal improvisation workshop she created, called the Miracle of Melody.
