In celebration of our nation’s 250th birthday, the Dublin Historical Society has launched a project to collect memories of life in Dublin, California back in the day during the Bicentennial in 1976. We invite the public to share their photos, news clippings, letters, journal entries, maps, or other objects - from Dublin, 1976 - that can be digitized for our online storytelling exhibit and archives. 
This effort aims to explore not only how Dublin, California residents celebrated America’s 200th birthday, but also how they lived in 1976. Through your own photographs and souvenirs, we’ll get a perspective of Dublin’s social, cultural, military, and business history - what it meant to be a Dubliner fifty years ago. 
This event kicks off the Dublin Historical Society’s new digital archiving project using new software that will allow current and future generations to come to view our collection. You will receive a digital copy of your contribution(s) to this archive.
Please visit us on Saturday, May 9th, 2026, in the Dublin Library’s Community Room
from 10am to 2pm to help us create this online archive, a legacy for generations to come.

It's Party Time for SIR Branch 116 Members! 
Our annual "Spring Fling" luncheon event&nbsp; for our branch members where members and their spouses/partners get together for a festive time is happening on May 19 starting at 11:00 AM with lunch served around noon. This year it will be held at Crow Canyon Country Club in Danville. We will meet in the Eugene O'Neill room; a really great venue.&nbsp;
In addition to the wonderful view of the golf course and the serving of great Mexican food, there will be&nbsp; a chance to win prizes during the social hour that starts at 11:00 AM.&nbsp; Don't miss it!.

Celebrate Memorial Day weekend in unforgettable style with&nbsp;Wood Family Vineyards on Sunday, May 24, as we partner with Cured Fish Bar for our very first all-you-can-eat seafood and crawdad boil. This exciting new event invites you to gather with friends and family for an evening filled with incredible food, lively company, and the beautiful backdrop of the vineyard.
Guests will enjoy a Southern-style feast featuring fresh shrimp, crawfish, and mussels, paired with perfectly seasoned potatoes, sweet corn on the cob, and zesty chicken sausage&nbsp;cooked to perfection. This incredible meal will take place at the Wood Family estate, located at 7702 Cedar Mountain Road in Livermore.
A selection of Wood Family wines will be available for purchase by the bottle, with special discounts for wine club members. Oyster lovers can also enhance their evening by visiting Cured Fish Bar’s specialty oyster bar, offering additional fresh options to complement the meal.
Tickets are $75 for club members and $85 for non-members, and include a welcome wine pour. Doors open at 5:30 pm, with dinner beginning at 6 pm. Join us for a night of exceptional flavors, great wine, and unforgettable memories.
