Atlanta rapper Che specializes in digitally enhanced melodic flows, maxed-out production, and bright, multi-colored beats that toe the line between rage rap and outright pop. After releasing several independent projects, he signed with 10K Projects, which released his debut studio album, Sayso Says. Che was born Chase Mitchell in 2006 and began releasing music in 2020, first under the stage names murkio! and cheRomani+ before settling on Che. He had several viral singles, notably his 2021 tracks “Off the Lot Remix” and “Agenda,” both of which drew lots of attention on various social media platforms, as well as millions of plays on streaming services. Che released his debut mixtape, Closed Captions, in 2023, and that same year issued two EPs, Before Crueger and Crueger. Bronx born and raised Chazz Palminteri wrote A Bronx Tale in 1988. The powerful one man stage play depicted his bruising childhood which included witnessing a gangland killing when he was nine years old. Palminteri played 18 characters and brought them all to life in his autobiographical play. His friends, enemies and family came alive on stage. Hollywood Studios went crazy after seeing it and offered him millions of dollars to turn it into a major movie. There was one catch… They wanted to put a star in the role of Sonny and someone else to write the screenplay. With $200 dollars in the bank…Palminteri said No… he would hold out and wait. He wanted to play Sonny and write the screenplay. Then one night Palminteri walked into his dressing room and sitting there was Robert De Niro who just saw the show. Robert DeNiro gave Palminteri the chance he was waiting for… And as they say in Hollywood the rest is history.

Following the release of the much-acclaimed EP Who We Are in 2013, alternative rock group Flyleaf announced its intention to return with a full-length album in 2014. The sheer energy and haunting lyricism of the album echoed qualities of past Flyleaf tours, in which the band fused a unique melodic element with a hard rock feel. Flyleaf’s energetic presence on stage is contagious with guitarists Jared Hartmann and Sameer Bhattacharya dancing as they strum. The release of Who We Are marked the first major achievements since the step-down of original lead vocalist Lacey Sturm. Immediately following Sturm’s departure, new female vocalist Kristen May impressed with her stunning voice and obvious passion, qualities essential in assisting the entire band in the lead-up to its first Kristen May-focused album and associated tour. Flyleaf began as Passerby, a collaboration between Lacey Sturm and James Culpepper. After joining forces with Sameer Bhattacharya and Jared Hartmann, the group performed in concerts throughout Texas, eliciting the majority of their ticket purchases from Christian fans bored with the traditional religious music scene. Even with clear demographic trends and frequent allusions to faith in their lyrics, members of Flyleaf refer to themselves not as a Christian rock band, but as members of a rock band who happen to be Christians. Since christening itself Flyleaf in 2004, the band has experienced success in the mainstream music industry, most notably landing on Top 40 radio stations with the single “All Around Me.” Subsequent successes have included the release of a second full-length album, Memento Mori, as well as headlining the 2010 Unite &amp; Fight Tour. The band may see a future transition into a less faith-based approach, as Kristen May expressed a desire to take a different route.

For over 50 years Hot Tuna, Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady, have brought a wealth of emotions to their music through deep perceptions and tremendous talent. Members of the Rock &amp; Roll Hall of Fame and Grammy recipients, they are always injecting fresh energy into their sound with constant improvisation taking their musical horizons further. Guitarist Jorma Kaukonen and bassist Jack Casady were also at the heart of Jefferson Airplane, another iconic group with roots in the 1960s. Over the past ﬁve decades, they’ve released more than two dozen records as a band and many more solo projects. Long considered one of rock’s ﬁrst bass heroes, Jack Casady has been thumping and plucking four-strings in front of audiences since the mid ‘60s. Casady’s creativity is evidenced by his continually evolving bass solos in his extensive library of songs and live performances and at 81 years of age, Kaukonen remains at the apex of his skills, captivatingly singing in a husky voice and humbly yet proﬁciently playing blues licks that rival the iconic leads of many blues rock masters. Together, they are well-seasoned musicians and musical treasures. To some fans, Hot Tuna is a reminder of wild and happy times. To others, the name will forever be linked to their own discovery of the power and depth of American Blues music. To newer fans, Hot Tuna is a band that is on the cutting edge of music. This past October, Jefferson Airplane were given their own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the ceremony of which was attended by the band’s sole surviving members: Casady, Kaukonen, and Grace Slick. Fittingly, the star is located right in front of Musician’s Institute. Hot Tuna remains one of the most innovative Rock and Roll bands in American music.
