Join us for a day of golf, connection, and charitable giving to enable kids, families, and seniors in need of financial assistance to participate in YMCA programs and memberships. Held at the Echo Lake Country Club from 9:00am-9:30pm, the day includes a full day on the course, a cookout lunch, refreshments throughout the day, and a lively evening featuring a cocktail hour, buffet dinner, and both live and silent auctions.

Proceeds from the Golf Classic directly support the Westfield Area YMCA Strong Kids+ Annual Support Campaign, which provides financial assistance for those with a bona fide financial hardship that live or work in Cranford, Garwood, Mountainside, or Westfield.
The majority of financial assistance awards enable children to attend the Y's early learning, school-age, and summer camp programs. Additionally, awards enable families and seniors to benefit from Y wellness opportunities like aquatics, sports, and fitness classes. Youth, teen, senior and special needs programs are subsidized to ensure they are available for all.&nbsp;

The Lifeguarding Recertification course is designed to refresh your knowledge and skills. This one day course is June 14 from 8:00am-4:00pm. Upon successful completion, you will renew your certification for another two years. To participate in the Lifeguarding Recertification class you must have a current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification, and certification expired by no more than 30 days.&nbsp;
During the course, individuals will have the opportunity to review and practice their skills. Participants must pass the final written test and the three final skill assessments. This 3-day hybrid learning course provides entry-level participants the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until EMS personnel take over.
Course Dates (must attend all dates):

Fairview Cemetery and Arboretum will host its popular Notable Residents Walking Tour on Sunday, May 31st, at 2:00 p.m. This guided event will explore the rich history of Westfield through the stories of community members laid to rest on the cemetery’s grounds.
Spanning 105 serene acres, Fairview Cemetery is both a tranquil resting place and a living archive of the town’s past. Visitors will learn about the lives and legacies of residents who helped shape Westfield, uncovering personal stories and contributions that continue to resonate today. This community event offers a unique opportunity to step into Westfield’s past while enjoying the peaceful beauty of Fairview Cemetery.
The tour will be led by local historian, Barbara Burton, who has a deep history with the town of Westfield. In addition to serving as a Trustee for the Westfield Historical Society, she has also served on the Board of Governor’s for the Miller Cory House and was a member of the Westfield Historic Preservation Commission. Most recently she curated an in-depth exhibit at the Reeve House, exploring the life and career of Virginia Apgar, one of the individuals featured on the Historic Notables Tour.

Battle for the Brave: A Wrestling Showcase for Heroes is the first-of-its-kind charity wrestling event benefiting the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, taking place June 6, 2026 at the Rahway Rec Center in Rahway, New Jersey. 🇺🇸
Hosted by New Jersey native and professional wrestlers Deonna Purrazzo alongside Steve Maclin, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and professional wrestler, the event will bring together wrestling fans, veterans, first responders, families, and the local Rahway community for an unforgettable night of live professional wrestling.
