Meet the performers:

As duo partners for nearly two decades, Chicago-based violinist Sara Su Jones and Ukrainian-American pianist Tatyana Stepanova have given recitals at the Harvard Club of New York as well as in Reykjavik, Iceland, and Washington, DC. The duo has appeared multiple times on “Live from WFMT” and performed throughout the Chicago area, including in the Driehaus Museum’s Third Wednesday Concert Series and Fourth Church’s Friday Noonday Concert Series; at the Charles Gates Dawes House and Schweikher House; and in sold-out recitals at Glessner House, the Cliff Dwellers Club, and Newberry Library. Their eclectic, creative programs often highlight striking but little-known works, particularly by female composers, and Sara Su’s insightful commentary and storytelling enliven the duo’s performances.

Meet the performers:

“Not only inspiring, but refreshing” (I Care if You Listen), OLEA Ensemble envisions a future in which the transformative power of chamber music can be used as a model for healthy connection and collaboration in all facets of society. Founded in 2021, OLEA is a trio dually based in Chicago and Cincinnati, performing regularly across the Midwest. Members include Kate Kilgus (clarinet), Alayne Honaker (violin), and Marissa Kerbel (piano). OLEA’s mission to foster community connections through innovative curation of new music has inspired recent commissions by Brad Balliett, Owen Hopper, Shane Scott Cook, Jacy Pedersen, Annie McAllister, and Christopher Jessop.&nbsp;

OLEA Ensemble has completed residencies at Camphill Village Kimberton Hills (2026), Akropolis Chamber Music Institute (2025), SOS ART (2024), Avaloch Farm Music Institute (2022), the Decoda Chamber Music Festival (2022), and has performed at the Thirsty Ears Festival (2026), New Music Chicago’s ImpromptuFest (2023), and the Price Hill Music Festival (2023) as well as at over 25 more intimate venues across Cincinnati and Chicago.

Meet the performer:

Brad Conroy is a versatile guitarist, performer, and educator who specializes in the art and scholarship of the classical guitar. Brad performs from a diverse repertoire which begins at the Renaissance and goes through to the 21st century, often including his own compositions, improvisations, and new works which have been dedicated to him.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Brad has given concerts across the United States and abroad, with appearances that include Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, the International Guitar Festival in Brno, Czech Republic, Vienna, Austria, Newport Beach, California, and Cornwall, UK to name a few. His music has been heard on WFMT Chicago, and he has given concerts for the Chicago Historical Society, the Chicago Classical Guitar Society, the Czech Guitar Society, The Schweiker House, as well as a private concert for Caroline Kennedy and her entourage.&nbsp;
Brad finished his B.M. at Northeastern Illinois University (cum laude) with a degree in Classical Guitar Performance where he studied with 19th century scholar Dr. Brian Torosian and furthered his music studies with a M.M. in Classical Guitar Performance at The Chicago College of Performing Arts, the music conservatory at Roosevelt University where he studied with world renowned guitarists Denis Azabagic and Sergio Assad. Brad Conroy is currently the Department Chair of Guitar at the Music Institute of Chicago.

The acoustics of St. Mark's 1891 sanctuary have carried music for over a century, and every note carries that legacy forward. Admission is free. Meet the performer:Coriolis was founded by Gregg Skalinder in 1987 to bring together skilled volunteer singers who share a passion for compelling a cappella repertoire and ensemble singing. Though Coriolis repertoire covers a broad range of styles and musical eras the group has a special affinity for 20th century and contemporary composers and both American and British choral traditions.



Coriolis members come to the ensemble from a variety of careers: business professional to educator, tech talent to professional musician, property manager to non-profit leader, college student to retiree. Coriolis strives to create and share beauty with one another across multiple generations (singer ages range from early 20s to late 70s) and finds deep satisfaction sharing it with the group's supportive audience.

Coriolis singers have performed with community, volunteer, collegiate, and professional chamber choirs, chorales, and vocal ensembles in Chicago, the midwest, and across the United States.
