My name is Andi Sklar, and I'm a dedicated community advocate with a passion for making a real difference in the lives of children and families. I pour my energy into initiatives in and around my community of Westport, CT, focusing on health, well-being, and vital research. From witnessing the impact of Jacob's Cure in New York City to my extensive involvement with local organizations in Westport, giving back is in my DNA.

Over the past 16 years in Westport, I've had the privilege of contributing to many impactful organizations. My journey began with the Temple Israel Early Childhood Center, where I chaired the preschool committee. I then co-founded Angel-ade, a lemonade stand initiative for Al's Angels, aiding children and families facing life-threatening illnesses. Later, I played a key role with PinkAid, first as an Auction Chair, then as Event Chair, where I helped raise over $1 million for underserved breast cancer patients. My passion for fundraising is evident in the numerous events I've organized, consistently securing vital donations.

Currently, I'm actively involved with Connecticut Children's Medical Center, expanding their community presence and organizing events like Hearts In Harmony, which supports research and awareness for Long QT syndrome. Another impactful event I organized was "Check Your Beat," providing free EKGs to children, demonstrating my commitment to proactive healthcare.

My dedication to philanthropy is deeply personal, rooted in a genuine desire to support children's organizations and make a lasting impact. The friendships forged through this work, like the one with Kira Greenfield of Hearts In Harmony, fuel my passion. Witnessing the positive changes these organizations bring to families in Fairfield County and beyond is incredibly fulfilling. While I've contributed to a wide range of causes, my focus remains on children's health and well-being. Join me in making a meaningful difference in our communities.
