Whitney Chen, Neighbor

This Clarendon Hills native who currently lives in NYC went from being an engineering consultant to working the line at Restaurant Eve and Thomas Keller's Per Se.  She was recently on the Food Network and currently works as a contributing editor at Gilt Taste, Ruth Reichl's newest tech adventure. 

Whitney earned an engineering degree from Lehigh University, a professional journalism degree from New York University and graduated from the culinary program at L'Academie de Cuisine.  She is a proud volunteer at the Junior League and tweets @whittybites.
