The Old Library by Lake Afton

Join the Yardley Bird Town Pennsylvania group and Yardley EAC for a bird walk to
observe and learn about the birds that call our town home! Since this walk is part of our "Summer Series"&nbsp;we will be focusing on birds that breed in the area. We'll touch on the ongoing Pennsylvania Bird Atlas project as well to catalogue these breeding species.&nbsp;
We will meet at Lake Afton by the Library. Then we will walk down&nbsp;Afton Ave. to the Delaware River near the Yardley Veteran’s Memorial to bird at the Yardley Riverside Garden. Then, we will walk to the Delaware Canal Towpath and travel north .5 miles to the Yardley Trail Head.
<ul><li>We encourage you to bring binoculars or cameras but they are not required </li><li>Dress appropriately for being outdoors in the sun </li><li>This is a rain or shine event unless it is a torrential downpour </li><li>Wear comfortable shoes you are okay with getting dirty, the towpath can be muddy after rain </li><li>Please leave all pets at home for this walk</li></ul>

Fireman's Field Complex, 250 S. Nursery Ave., Purcellville, VA, 20132

The annual Purcellville Wine and Food Festival returns on Saturday, July 18, in Dillon’s Woods at the historic Fireman’s Field Complex (250 S. Nursery Avenue, Purcellville). The festival will take place from 2 to 8 p.m., inviting guests to gather with family and friends for an afternoon and evening of local wine, beer, food, live music, art, and more.
This year’s event will showcase 40 vendors, including wineries, breweries, food and snack vendors, and local exhibitors. Enjoy live music performances by the Rick Reaves Band, The Darby Brothers, and the Franklin Park Big Band. The “Arts in the Garden” section, hosted by the Purcellville Arts Council, will highlight local artists who will create works of art live on-site. Additional activities include face painting and a photo stand-in booth. 
Early bird ticket pricing is available through 5 p.m. on July 17: 
• Early bird admission (ages 17 and over): $5 (+ tax) 
• Early bird drink tickets (6 oz wine or 12 oz beer): $8.50 (+ tax) 
• Early bird drink ticket package: 4 tickets for $32 (+ tax) 
• Early bird bottle of wine purchase: $35 (+ tax), available from participating wineries (bottles must be consumed on-site)
A souvenir glass will be provided with the purchase of the first drink ticket. Save time and money by purchasing your tickets in advance. 
The popular VIP experience returns for $275 (+ tax) and includes admission for six, a reserved table for six, three bottles of local wine, six souvenir glasses, six drink tickets, early entry to the festival, special commemorative gifts, and a selection of sweets and savories for the table.

Yardley Community Centre

The RSVP Brass Quintet performs a wide range of classic quintet repertoire, Bach to Beatles, Debussy to Dixieland, Mozart to Motown, and Sousa to Sinatra, along with more contemporary, jazz, and pop works, all sprinkled with humor and entertainment. RSVP Brass began in 1998. We are a combination of accomplished professional musicians and experienced amateurs. We entertain at weddings, church holidays, and community benefits, eliciting smiles and making musical memories.&nbsp;
Yardley Community Centre supports the arts through the Main Street Theater Company, the Pennsbury Alumni Jazz Band, the Bucks County Performing Arts Center, and various local dance, vocal, and musical outlets. With woodlands, a rain garden, stream restoration, meadow and more than 95 species of native trees, shrubs, flowers, grasses, and permaculture fruits and vegetables, it’s a great opportunity to get ideas for your own piece of the Homegrown National Park!
