Lucy Zhou, Neighbor

Lucy Zhou is a Hinsdale resident, educator, and founder of HMAE – Hinsdale Multicultural Arts & Education Association, a local nonprofit dedicated to connecting the community through multicultural arts, education, and public celebrations. A former university engineering professor and longtime Chinese language and culture educator, Lucy has helped organize community events in Hinsdale, including Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, National Hot Tea Month, and AANHPI Heritage Month celebrations. Through HMAE, she works with schools, libraries, students, families, and community partners to promote cultural understanding and strengthen community life.
