Join us for the 2nd annual Cape Cod Pottery Trail! This self-guided trail offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at the people and places where Cape Cod pottery is made. With 16 locations on the 2026 trail map and multiple artists at some locations, visitors can experience an extraordinary range of ceramic work—from wheel-thrown and slipcast functional ware to hand-built sculpture, jewelry, raku and wood-fired pieces. Many of these spaces are not open to the public outside the Trail, making the weekend a unique opportunity to meet the artists, see their creative processes, and purchase work directly from the makers. The Trail is free and open to everyone. There is no starting point or route. Visitors already on-Cape can jump onto the trail at any location, while those arriving from off-Cape often begin at the Sagamore location. Download a map from the Pottery Trail website. For an added element of fun, this map doubles as a Pottery Passport which provides space to collect a stamp at each stop. Complete the passport and turn it in at the final stop for a chance to win a handmade piece created by one of the Trail artists. September 25, 5-7pm Kick Off the Weekend at the Preview Party Get the hottest ticket in town! Join us for a festive evening event where you will meet the makers, see (and purchase) samples of their work, connect with the thriving pottery community – all while enjoying food and drink in the beautiful garden setting. In anticipation of the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Ritz-Carlton in Downtown Boston, the luxury hotel is bringing back its classic afternoon tea service. <a href="https://www.ritzcarlton.com/en/hotels/bosrt-the-ritz-carlton-boston/dining/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Afternoon Tea at The Ritz-Carlton, Boston</a> returns this fall to Avery Bar with an exciting theatrical twist. 
Exquisitely prepared by the hotel’s talented chefs, guests can enjoy a classic selection of tea sandwiches, small bites, and delicate pastries alongside fine teas from Dammann Frères. Full bar service is also available, featuring colorful cocktails inspired by the magic of Wicked, which is performing at the nearby Citizens Opera House during the tea’s inaugural run, guaranteed to make this a particularly “Popular” afternoon. 
Drawing inspiration from Boston’s vibrant theater scene, this seasonal fall experience invites guests of all ages to gather with family and friends for an afternoon tradition steeped with a touch of theatrical flair and magical enchantment.
Afternoon Tea resumes Saturday, September 26th and will be offered on weekends at The Ritz-Carlton through Sunday, November 15th, to sync with Wicked’s performance schedule. Shortly thereafter, Avery Bar will once again host Avery Bar Chocolat for the upcoming holiday season starting Saturday, November 28th.
Afternoon Tea will be served Saturdays, 11AM - 3PM, and&nbsp;Sundays, 11AM - 4PM. Pricing is&nbsp;$99.00 per adult and $49.00 per child under the age of 10, plus taxes &amp; gratuities. Adult price excludes alcohol and specially-themed cocktails.
