• Report provides new details, classification of recent Davis County tornado (abc4.com) — A newly released National Weather Service report confirms that the tornado which touched down near Fruit Heights on September 18 reached a record-setting 1.1 miles in width for Utah. The storm, rated EF-2 with 120 mph peak winds, carved a 5.9-mile path over Francis Peak, destroying century-old trees and contributing to severe hail, rain, and traffic disruptions for Davis County residents.
