• Lehi revises backyard housing rules ahead of Oct.1 state deadline (lehifreepress.com) — Lehi homeowners now have more flexibility to build detached backyard housing units after the city lowered minimum lot sizes and adjusted parking and size rules to meet a new state mandate. The updated ordinance, already in effect, could help families add space for relatives or tenants while still limiting height, setbacks, and utility connections to protect neighborhood infrastructure and safety.
• Chabad of Utah County reports vandalism of office, describes it as 'hate-driven' incident (abc4.com) — Lehi residents should know that the Chabad of Utah County's new local office was vandalized over the weekend, with its door smashed but nothing stolen and no injuries reported. Lehi City Police are investigating the incident, which Chabad leaders fear may be hate-driven, and community members are urged to report any related threats or suspicious activity.
