Today's riddle: What do you call a one-legged Big Foot? 🤔 (Answer below!)
1. 23rd Annual Pray 4 Snow Party (slugmag.com) — Logan residents can support local avalanche forecasting and education at the 23rd Annual Pray 4 Snow Party on December 8 at The Cache. For $35, your ticket includes pizza, drinks, an opportunity drawing, and access to a silent auction, with all proceeds helping the Utah Avalanche Center in Logan prepare for a busy winter season of safety programs.
2. Utah upcoming events Sep 28 (lemonwire.com) — Logan sports fans have two chances this week to catch Utah State Aggies women's volleyball at the Wayne Estes Center, with home matches against Fresno State and Colorado State. The statewide roundup also highlights theater, concerts, and games across Utah from September 28 through October 4, giving Logan residents plenty of options for a quick road trip or night out.
3. USU Students Unveil Engineering Honor Society Statue Dedicated to Astronaut Alumna (usu.edu) — A new Tau Beta Pi "Bent" statue honoring astronaut and USU alumna Mary L. Cleave now stands outside the Anderson Engineering Building on Utah State's Logan campus, after a two-year student-led restoration. Local engineering students spearheaded the project, securing funding, designing a new base, and hoping the monument will inspire future Logan-based Aggies to see their work as a launchpad to broader impact.
4. Prep football: Stage set for big Stansbury at Ridgeline game (hjnews.com) — Logan High's football team thrilled fans with a 55-24 homecoming rout of Union, powered by quarterback Easton Favero's seven touchdown passes and over 400 yards through the air. The roundup also highlights big Region 11 wins for Ridgeline, Mountain Crest, and Bear River, setting up a marquee Ridgeline–Stansbury showdown that local prep football followers will be watching closely.
