Everyone Can Be A Philanthropist - Give Time, Talent, Resources

Local opportunities to give charitably in the Salt Lake City area. Article written by Ryan Van Wagenen of Cottonwood Heights.

In Cottonwood Heights, we are blessed with many great selfless people that are constantly looking to help others. Philanthropy is actually quite simple - To have a love of people. Loving people enough to help is something we all can do!

Philanthropy is centred around our need to connect with people, and our desire to have a better world.
Anyone and everyone in Salt Lake City can get involved in our local philanthropic efforts. Our community is full of great citizens like you that can help power charitable groups to give back to our community in a way that can make a difference. We offer a wide variety of charitable options to accommodate individuals and families from different financial backgrounds. There are also many unique ways to give of your time, talent, or resources. Below is an event that a good friend of mine is hosting to help those in Mexico and Puerto Rico - This is a great way for us to get involved here locally in this great state.

October 27th - Halloween Charity Event to Help Mexico and Puerto Rico - A great opportunity to go out and have a fun Friday night while also getting to meet others interested in helping the community, would be to come on October 27th to the Halloween Charity Event to Help Mexico & Puerto Rico at Spice Bistro at 6121 South Highland Drive in Holladay. This will be a nice charitable event to collect donations that will be sent to Mexico and Puerto Rico to help save lives in these difficult times. There are many families, children, and elderly in Mexico and Puerto Rico with health problems who need our help! The gathering will have the best and newest of Latin music, entertainment, and a talent show in representation of Mexico and Puerto Rico. The talent show will feature Folklor Borinquen of New Jersey in representation of the beauty of the Puerto Rican culture and a Halloween style professional modeling presentation by a great man from Mexico, Johnny Mosqueda, owner of the London Empire Model & Talent Academy. There will be a lot of positive energy at the event as all who will attend are great locals who have a desire to help save lives! Please share this event with family and friends and anyone you think would be interested in having fun while helping a great cause.
