• 11 Salt Lake County neighborhoods could see new investment under federal program (utahbusiness.com) — Salt Lake County leaders are backing 11 neighborhoods for the next round of federal Opportunity Zones, a program that steers private investment into lower-income areas. Earlier zones helped spur residential growth in South Salt Lake, and local residents can watch to see whether nearby tracts gain similar incentives when the U.S. Treasury makes its final decision in December.
