• Spanish Fork leaders consider data center proposal amid community concerns (fox13now.com) — Spanish Fork officials just heard a proposal for a large data center at the old Fingerhut distribution site near Spanish Fork Canyon, drawing vocal concern from nearby homeowners about noise, emissions, and resource use. The developer says the project would generate its own 250 megawatts of power, use minimal water with closed-loop cooling, and avoid tapping the grid, but residents remain skeptical and want proof the concept works elsewhere first.
