• Spanish Fork citizens file referendum on data center amendment; county works on ordinance to bring protections (fox13now.com) — Spanish Fork residents have filed a referendum to challenge the city's new Title 15 rules for self-powered data centers, aiming for stronger protections and more distance from neighborhoods. While the Volition data center has been shifted toward Stockman Flats, Utah County is also drafting a countywide ordinance that would require public meetings, notices, and strict infrastructure and resource safeguards before any similar projects move forward.
