Vermont is losing a claim to publishing "local" news.
The Colorado-based National Trust for Local News, so-called, has agreed to buy five weeklies based in the Green Mountain State.
Stowe Reporter, Citizen, Shelburne News, The Other Paper and News & Citizen have sold out.
