The first-term mayor of Vermont's largest city is refusing to say whether she plans to run for re-election this spring.
Emma Mulvaney-Stanak's first possible opponent isn't waiting on her announcement.
Council President Ben Traverse says he's seriously considering a run for the corner office, according to WCAX-TV.
Traverse leads Democrats questioning "progressive" Mulvaney-Stanak's management of the crime-riddled, drug-infested, inancially-troubled city.
