Vermont prosecutors fail to remove their own campaign signs

Two state’s attorneys are failing to comply with Vermont law requiring campaign signs be taken down after an election.

Sarah George and Bram Kranichfeld, who ran against each other in Tuesday's primary, still had signs up as of Friday.

That is a violation of the law by two people claiming to be enforcing Vermont state statutes

“Signs should be removed immediately after the election,” according to state regulation, Title 10, Vermont Statutes Annotated.

George, who won re-election as Chittenden County state's attorney, has been a prosecutor in the Green Mountain State more than a decade.

Kranichfeld, currently a prosecutor in Franklin County, has a tenure as a Vermont law-enforcement officer at least as long as George's.

Strangely neither of them care about enforcing the laws they promised to uphold during the campaign when it comes to themselves.
