Get on up, Burlington! Let's get this day started. Here are the most important things happening in Burlington today.

Here are the top three stories today in Burlington:

  1. The 2022 Renewable Energy Vermont conference will be on Oct. 27 and Oct. 28 in South Burlington. The conference committee will be accepting online presentation submissions until May 2. Attendees will enjoy networking opportunities coupled with presentations that exhibit advances in the renewable energy industry. (Vermont Biz)
  2. Burlington residents will not be experiencing a 10 percent rate increase for medical services due to state regulators vetoing a proposal presented by local hospitals. Regulators did, however, approve a much smaller rate increase for the University of Vermont Medical Center. The health networks were fighting for a rate increase to cover recent inflation.
