Here are the top three stories in Burlington today:
- The Burlington Police Department arrested Sabrina Kingsbury, 40-years-old, for robbing a Church Street business. The incident occurred on Monday when Kingsbury threatened staff with a knife while stealing more than $1,000 worth of merchandise. The department arrested Kingsbury at a bus stop near the intersection of St. Paul and Pearl Streets. (WCAX)
- Burlington's Beta company has successfully landed its electric airplane at the Lebanon Municipal Airport. The historic flight occurred on Friday and made its quiet landing after traveling 133 miles from Burlington. The plane has a 50-foot wingspan and can reach a maximum speed of 140 miles per hour. (Valley News)
- Burlington's Chief Medical Examiner's Office is working to identify the cause of death for bodies recovered from Seymour Lake. The bodies have been identified as Aidan Connolly of Roslindale, Massachusetts, and Nicholas Samuels of Weston, Massachusetts. The Vermont State Police SCUBA Team recovered the bodies from the Lake on Tuesday evening. (Vermont Biz)
