- On Friday, Burlington reported an increase in COVID-19 viral samples in its wastewater treatment plants, indicating a rise in coronavirus levels in the community. Between the period of Mar. 13 and Mar. 21, the East Plant's viral concentration increased by 750 percent, with the Main Plant's increasing by 65 percent and the North Plant's by 480 percent. Despite the spike, all three remain well below their peak of viral concentration, which took place during the height of Omicron this January. (vtdigger.org)
- The University of Vermont (UVM) Children's Hospital is hosting its annual fundraiser, "Big Change Roundup for Kids."
