  1. According to officials with The Flynn, Michael Mwenso will guest curate the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival this year. Mwenso is an artist, musician, and activist who previously played during the 2016-2017 editions of the festival. As a curator, Mwenso will take the lead in shaping the 10-day festival from beginning to end. (Seven Days)
  2. The Chittenden County Sheriff's Office is warning Burlington residents about a new phone scam hitting the area. The scam involves a caller claiming they are working with the Sheriff's Office claiming they are collecting fines over the phone. The Sherriff's office has received multiple complaints about the new scam since Wednesday. (WCAX)
  3. Burlington library patrons will soon have expanded options of e-books and audiobooks at their local library. A new program is adding new vendors on the 'Palace' app that patrons use to access the content. The new content will be for all ages and include bestsellers with the program rolling out over the next few months. (WCAX)
