Here are the top three stories in Burlington today:
- The Burlington School District is searching for four new principals. The search is intended to fill the open positions before the start of the next school year. The district has already started the hiring process for Integrated Arts Academy, Edmunds Elementary, and Hunt Middle School with plans to expand the applicant pool to fill the Flynn Elementary School position. (WCAX)
- Concerned community members are raising issues with the new Burlington High School plans. During a Tuesday night meeting, citizens living near the Institute Road site voiced concerns that they were being left out of the process. The board is expecting to make a final decision during its Apr. 27 meeting with public comments being accepted until that date. (WCAX)
- Owners of The Scale poke bar will be closing their Essex Junction location while expanding delivery throughout the Burlington region. Their original Williston location remains open while Perry and Neil Farr turn the Essex Junction location into a commissary kitchen. The new Vermont Department of Health-certified kitchen will be made available for rent for events and production space. (Seven Days)
