- A South Burlington woman was charged after leading police in a chase across Franklin County. An undercover unit spotted 41-year-old Tania Vincelette driving in St. Albans, and she appeared to be under the influence. Upon seeing the cruiser lights, Vincelette took off in her vehicle, ultimately jumping out of her vehicle and leaving on foot before being caught by police. (WCAX)
- Burlington runner Liam Murphy made a goal to run around the world, and now he has just one continent left: Antarctica. Murphy is currently training for the Antarctica Marathon on Jan. 28, making it his seventh and final stop on his running tour. (WCAX)
- A credit union in Vermont is developing the state's first lending program that complies with Islamic law, allowing more Muslim households to purchase homes. Opportunities Credit Union, which has locations in Burlington and Winooski, is looking to create a model where it and its customers share ownership of a home. (vtdigger.org)
