Here are the top three stories in Burlington today:
- The Burlington School District is conducting a feedback survey on BHS-BTC Concept Designs. The four options match all of the requirements issued by the district during its bidding process. - A new Burlington Police Department oversight plan will have all police complaints reviewed by the police commission. The plan was formulated under a deal between the Burlington Mayor and the City Council. The plan is meant to strike a middle ground between demand for increased police accountability and the rights of city employees. (WCAX)
- Wet April snow caused thousands of Chittenden County residents to lose power on Tuesday. The downed lines also closed many roads throughout the county. Green Mountain Power is prepared for possible outages but is currently warning residents that outages may persist into the middle of the week. (WCAX)
