- The annual street sweeping of Burlington streets has officially begun. The street sweeping started in the city's New North End on Wednesday night. Residents are being asked to remove their vehicles from the roads overnight. Anyone not complying will have their vehicle towed. (WCAX)
- The Burlington City Council has officially approved the construction of the Champlain Parkway. The construction project for the Vermont roadway has been stuck in development limbo for 35 years. The council unanimously voted to approve a $45 million contract to begin the first phase of construction. (Construction Equipment Guide)
