- Burlington's The Flynn has announced a new campaign centered on rewarding educators for the sacrifices they make for their students. The campaign will allow community members to nominate teachers for a chance to win free tickets to shows premiering at The Flynn. According to officials with The Flynn, the program will apply to almost all of the shows happening before the end of May. (WCAX)
- Anti-war protestors gather in Burlington as President Biden warns that a Russian invasion of Ukraine is imminent. The protestors were brought together by the Peace and Justice Center and the Internationalist Antiwar Committee of Vermont. According to leaders of the movement, peace can be maintained without relying on military and war efforts in the modern age. (Local 22/44 News)
- Rice Memorial High School announces that mask wearing is now optional for students and staff at the school. This announcement makes Rice Memorial High School the first school in Chittenden County to make mask wearing optional. According to the principal, the high school has a vaccination rate of over ninety percent. (WPTZ)
