Here are the top three stories in Burlington today:
- The City of Burlington has hired park rangers to patrol Burlington green spaces this summer. The city has hired two full-time rangers and two seasonal rangers that will be working with the Burlington Police Department. The rangers will be ensuring that residents are following the rules while enjoying the great outdoors. (WCAX)
- Burlington's true crime tours are returning for their 20th season. Queen City Ghostwalk is a true-crime walking tour throughout the city streets. The tours share Burlington's history of serial killers, crimes, and criminal plots. The tours begin at Courthouse Plaza and are led by author Thea Lewis. (WCAX)
- Protestors gathered at Chase Bank to protest the bank's fossil fuel investments. The protest was led by more than two dozen senior citizens through Third Act Vermont. The group reports that the bank's investment in fossil fuels is making climate change worse. (VT Digger)
