Here are the top three stories today in Burlington:
- The Vermont community got their first look at the new Burlington high school and tech center on Wednesday night. The proposed plan by the Burlington School Board would cost more than $200 million. The new building will cost between $161 million and $207 million with an additional $29 million to demolish the existing building. (WCAX)
- The University of Vermont Health Network has announced its intention to end operations at Burlington-based Yankee Medical. Operations are to be ended on Jun. 2, 2022. The health network intends to work with Yankee patients to assist in finding alternative DME providers for them. (Vermont Biz)
- Burlington-based Packetized Energy has been acquired by EnergyHub. The existing Packetized Energy team will reportedly remain in the Burlington region. EnergyHub is based in New York and provides 60 different utilities with energy resources. (Vermont Biz)
