• Partnership in the pasture (beefmagazine.com) — Charlotte is now home to the new Food Systems Research Station, a 400‑acre UVM–USDA partnership studying cattle grazing, forage crops, and climate‑resilient farming for Vermont and the wider Northeast. Researchers are testing everything from GPS‑tracked "Cow Choice" grazing to alternative annual forages, aiming to give local farmers practical, data‑driven tools to boost productivity and protect the environment.
   

• State of Vermont Superior Court, Probate Division, Chittenden Unit, Docket No. 26-PR-04936 (sevendaysvt.com) — Residents should know that creditors of the late William D. Symmes of Charlotte have four months from the first publication date to submit written claims against his estate. Claims must be sent to the executor's Burlington law firm address with a copy to Chittenden Probate Court, or they may be permanently barred.
   

• Men's Soccer: Cadets Explode for Nine Goals in Rout of VTSU-Johnson (norwichathletics.com) — A Norwich University men's soccer rout of VTSU-Johnson featured a key early assist from defender Miles Bergeson of Charlotte, who also scored later in the match. The Cadets dominated 9–0 in Northfield, limiting Johnson to just two shots and now turn their focus to hosting Lasell University this Saturday afternoon.
