• Vermont regulators finalize 5.5% rate increase for Green Mountain Power customers (vtdigger.org) — Colchester-based Green Mountain Power has received approval to raise electric rates 5.5% starting October 1, a smaller increase than the 7.5% originally requested. Regulators trimmed the utility’s proposed long-term resilience spending but still backed more than $100 million in grid upgrades, aiming to strengthen infrastructure while easing the immediate hit on customers already struggling with rising energy costs.
