• Killington Assembles A Team, Presents Progress To VEPC (mountaintimes.info) — Killington's ambitious TIF-funded village and infrastructure project is under pressure as state economic officials warn that missing and inconsistent financial records could jeopardize future approvals. Town leaders, facing major staff turnover and a history of management turmoil, have assembled a new team and rehired consultants to meet strict October deadlines that will determine whether the multimillion-dollar plan can move forward.
• Killington Resort wraps up summer upgrades at the mountain ahead of new ski season (mynbc5.com) — Killington Resort is finishing major upgrades to the Snowdon area, replacing the aging Snowdon Triple with a new fixed-grip quad lift aimed at improving reliability in harsh winter weather. With added snowmaking pipes, hydrants, and snow guns on popular trails, the resort expects the new lift to be ready around Thanksgiving, benefiting local skiers and Killington Mountain School athletes.
