β’ Trial continued in accused husband's murder case in Amherst (newsadvance.com) β A jury trial for a Lynchburg man accused in his estranged wife's death in Amherst County has been postponed from its planned October 5 start because of legal and logistical issues. Amherst Circuit Court Judge Jeff Bennett recently denied a defense motion, and the case remains active as other local criminal matters move through the same court.
