• A former Annandale ambulance deployed on 9-11 repurposed as a mobile museum (annandaletoday.com) — An Annandale Volunteer Fire Department ambulance that responded to the Pentagon on 9-11 has found a second life as a mobile firefighting museum in West Virginia. The current owners recently confirmed its Annandale origins and now showcase it at events, honoring both local responders' role on that day and the broader history of fire service.
• High school scores from around Virginia (rocktownnow.com) — Annandale High School's football team delivered a dominant 35–0 win over Justice in this week's slate of games across Virginia. The roundup highlights strong performances and upsets statewide, but Annandale fans can especially celebrate a shutout that boosts the team's momentum heading deeper into the season.
