• Stormwater facility in Annandale slated for repairs (annandaletoday.com) — A failing stormwater retention pond on Americana Drive next to the Vista apartments in Annandale is causing erosion, sediment buildup, and flooding in nearby buildings, prompting a county repair project. Fairfax County stormwater staff will inspect the site, survey residents, and develop a concept plan, with a community meeting expected in spring 2027 to review proposed fixes and impacts.
